How Dri-Anna Tracks The Current Status Of Her African Violet Collection:
My African Violet Collections is tracked, etc. via my computer.
I have assigned a color for each month as shown below. This Color Code is used in my Working Inventory List and the Label that is placed on the pot of the plant.

Illustrated below are three date line examples of my Working Inventory List & the Label that Would be Placed on the Plant Pot:
Example #1 -

Adam's Wunnerful which is a Baby was Potted 11-03-05. Notice that the Color For November has been used as a background for the African Violet's Name.
The Label For the Pot looks like this:

With just a glance at the Pot, I am aware of the month this plant was Potted/Repotted.

The above illustrates that I RP (Repotted) 2 Adeara plants in Dec. Note the History that is being recorded in the far Right Column.

And so it would go for every African Violet I have in my collection.
The only changes in entry identification data for the Inventory List and Pot Label is when I lay a leaf.....

I place all Miniatures & Semi-Miniatures Potted during the month on the same shelf or at least in groups. The Standards and Laid Leaves each have their own Stands.
Thus, I can see at a glance which plants are due for Repot. My repotting schedule is as follows:
- Miniatures & Semi-Miniatures are Repotted at Least every 3 months.
- Standards and Larger are Repotted at least every 6 months.
- The exception to the two preceding time periods is if the plant drastically out grows it pot before the next scheduled Repot Date.
